Is guinea pig urine a carrier of leptospirrosis like rats do?
Answers:
I don't think so. I do know that guinea pigs can contract leptospirosis if they are on grass where there are infected animal droppings.
I own 2 guinea pigs and have never heard of them carring leptospirrosis.
Rodents don't by default have diseases or carry diseases. If there's a reason that you suspect leptospirrosis, you should take him/her to a vet. Otherwise, don't worry.
