one eye is different. its smaller and has a bright spot in the center. sometimes he closes this eye but not another one.

I'd guess that the deformed eye can see into the future if my Norse and Egyptian mythology sources are correct.
No its normal some pets are like that I know a cat that has to different eyes just like that.

It looks like he might have a cataract. That is all I can think of..
It looks exactly like my dog's cataract, so maybe.

No, m' dear, nothing is wrong. Have you ever seen a wolf that has one green eye and one blue eye? Well that's what your guinea pig has, just not a wolf. Nothing to worry about, honest! ;-)

I couldn't really see very well the difference between the two. Again, I checked out Guinea Lynx's section on eye health, and they had some great pictures and info.
I remember when i first got my boys, one of them had a little white splotch on one of his eyes. It looked like maybe it was scratched, or something. We kept an eye on it, and it seemed to take care of itself.
I have a 4 month old abby that has one eye smaller then the other... She also have head tilt. I did find out that when she was born she had a ulcer in the eye and that she was now blind. But I have noticed that the nostril on the same size is not the same and we have concluded that she is paralyzed on the right side and has heart enlargement.
They can grow up to be great pets. but do require a bit more care. Little Miss does not run around like my other guinea but she does like to cuddle. I just have to be aware of a runny nose and sneezing ... fluid around her heart can kill her very quickly.

I don't see that your little cutie is as bad as mine. I can hardly notice yours. But if you notice anything else... find a cavey vet and ask them to check her out.

Oh.Your guinea pig may have a dry eye,something in his eye,or may starting to have early glucomia!I would talk to a small animal eye specialist.Hope it gets better!Or he may be blind in that eye!

i dont think it is any thing to worry about my guinea pig is blind in one of her eyes it is a bit funny in an odd sort if way
