Or would I be better off using ebay? I want to find a used one at a cheaper price because I am wanting to save plenty of money for vet bills if necessary. Thanks

On Buying used cages for rats:

I am concerned about the bar spacing on the first cage, looks too wide, but the other two cages look great.
If it wasn't so expensive for me to get cages from the USA (I live in Canada) I would certainly buy from e-bay.
Your idea to save for vet expenses is the sign of a thinker. Someone who plans ahead for the care of their rats.
I haven't had much luck in getting cages from Garage Sales. People want too much money for their junk. But I have gotten good cages from people who are on the same rat-only forums that I'm on.
I have a hard time supporting Craigslist because they support cruel rat ads but I did find a short list of used rat cages

Do you have a Buy-Sell-Trade paper in your hometown? Or a local on-line Buy-Sell-Trade?
Edit:
OK, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that ferret/chinchilla cage. Me want, you buy it for me, ok ........ :P

Look at your local thrift shop or garage sale.
hi! remember you answered my question oh where is a good place to buy a hamster. go to eBay or google and type in used hamster cage, look at all the outcomes. then choose the 1you like the most or the 1 that cost the less. then click on buy and type in your information and in a couple of days you will have your rat cage. or you could go to pet co, pet smart, miejers to buy 1. pet smart has the lowest price on rat cages. or you could buy a big tub, like one of those storage bins. put hay and stuff in it put you will have to tape a water bottle to the sides. the best thing you should do is get the tub. the best hamster cage on eBay was the first on the list

look for it under pets.
i like the first one and ya i would suggest ebay too. =] or a garage sale.
Ebay.com large selection of used stuff!
i have a cage similar to the first cage and it works well for my girls. i think the last cage link is cool and i would love to have something like that for my girls! although you do have to think about bar spacing so they don't go "exploring" without you around.
i prefer cages that i can actually look at and inspect closely. make sure they don't have rust on them and that all the levels are safe.
good luck with your hunt though
