Is it okay to put guinea pigs in a bunny cage?

I have two guniea pigs. They currently don't have enough space in their cage. I was going to make a cage to fit their needs but at the petstore in the bunny section they had a cage the perfect size. Is it okay to put guinea pigs in bunny cages?
Answers:
if the cage has wireing on the bottom ,no,the guinea pig can get its foot caught andin its hurry to get its foot out it will rip a nail out of its foot and youll have to rush the piggie to your vets.ive had that happen once and i will never forget how that poor piggie screeched in pain! i managed to stop the bleeding by putting pressure on its foot.no,dont put a guinea pig in a rabbits cage!
ya it okay
There is something called NIC cubes that I use for my rabbits. You can use them to give your gp more space! They can be found at Target and the are called organize- it cubes.

You should use a C%26C cage. Go to www.guineapigcages.com
These are by far the best guinea pig cages because they're safe, roomy, easy to clean, and the piggies love them! plus you can be as creative as you want with them, and, they're generally cheaper than those horrible, small pet store cages.
Yeah its OK...as long as you keep it well maintained for your pets its fine...if its the perfect size you should get it so your pets will be healthy, comfortable, and happy...good luck with your guinea pigs!! i have 3 currently and one of them is approaching 6yrs old...mainly (i think) because she has had the perfect size cage for her whole life..
It will be fine..wish more people were like you and cared so much about their pets. My 2 guinee brothers liked a 2 storey house so one slept upstairs and one down! They liked each others company but prefered to have their own space to sleep. You are obviously a caring owner so they will thrive and be happy
yes its fine we have two guinea pigs too Jellybean (mine) and Curly (my brothers) but since there is a metal part on the bottom on the cage and im not sure if you can pry it off.. maybe but it could take a long time and a really strong guy.. but we just put newspaper on that part so their little feet dont fall through.. and sometimes i put saw dust.. but that makes them icthy so i dont use it much only for my hamsters but yah they love it.. you should also take them on walks鈾?. and let them play out in the grass鈾?

yeah i did it and they got along great!!
i think it would be ok to do this, but i am trying to get rid of a cage that i have bought recently and didnt need afterall...not sure where you are or anything but mail me if you are interested it is big enough for 2 ginea pigs.
I doubt it is big enough unless it is well over 100 dollars. Save yourself money and make a C%26C cage. For 2 pigs you will need at least 30" x 50" of cage space. www.guineapigcages.com
Totally fine. Guinea pigs can even live with rabbits if they meet at a young enough age.
this depends, does the cage have any wire floor? if so, do not buy it, I repeat DO NOT BUY IT!!!!
they can be very bad for the guinea pigs sensitive feet, u see rabbit feet have plump little pads, there for wire bottom cages don't effect them, but guinea pigs have feet like us. thier feet can get cut and bleed, you'd have to take them to the vet and get them stiched and bandaged, wich can be quite expensive.my recomedation, make a bigger cage, that's what we did for our guinea pigs. but make the bottom of it rubber or plastic, anything but wire.
Yeah, it'll work
yes, as long as there isn't wire floors or anything in the rabbit cage the guinea pigs will be fine.
check out http://guineapigcages.com, you may be able to make one like that for cheaper than the rabbit cage is and it gives you size requirements for two guinea pigs.
If the cage has the wire flooring, then no. The guinea pigs feet could get cayght. I would suggest getting a C and C cage(www.guineapigcages.com).
