it should be... as far as i'm aware, there are no ingredents in cherios that will hurt a hamster and my little brother used to feed his hamster cherios before it got out of the cage and disappeared...
Yep! As long as it's the plain jane type and not the honey nut or cinnamin flavoured ones. :) I feed cheerios to my rats too and they love it!
Have fun with your hammie!
Apparently so , yes.
Hamsters can eat cereal as long as it is salt and sugar free.
I used to feed my hamsters(3)cherrios occasionally and it never had any ill effects.
yes they love them at least mine do.
yes but not to many...maybe one as a treat. Nothing should take the place of a balanced hamster mix.
Just remember if you have a dwarf hamster they can not have sweets: carrots, apple, etc.. because of diabetes.

Yeah its fine my little Hamster Angus loves them, if this loads then you can see him here

And Diabetes isn't always the case in dwarf hamsters, dwarfs and syrians are both fine with them,Everything in moderation not too much of this and not too much of that if you get what i mean
There's nothing wrong with a Cheerio now and then. I'd certainly watch how many I gave him, as Cheerios are more of a "treat" to a hamster and too many would fatten him up quick. :)
My friend gives her hamster an occasional cheerio and I give them to my two rats from time to time.
Theres a cereal like Cherrios but without all the honey and sugar, and its really healthy. You can find it at any Trader Joes super market its called Joes O's, and my gerbils LOVE it i give each of them one O maybe twice a week. Its preety good i think your hammy will like it. But im not too sure about Cherrios because theyre sweet and animals dont really like sweet plus its not healthy for them.
