This sounds very normal, but if your not really sure call a vet and ask them. Females when in heat, may leak or spray a yellowish liquid that does smell. We have 7 female Syrians and have experienced this many times. I've picked up one and have had the unpleasure of getting sprayed by them. There is a product available at most pet stores for this smell. It's not very cheap either, about $10-14 a bottle or less on sale. You ad it to their water end it helps control the odor. We use it with some of our more smelly ones. Below is the product we use.
Marshall Pet Bi-Odor Internal Waste %26 Urine Deodorizer
Virtually eliminate small animal litter box and body odors with Bi-Odor Internal Waste %26 Urine Deodorizer. 100% natural supplement deodorizes your pet's stool, urine, and body odors. Just add to your pet's food or water daily. This is reg. $12.99 on sale for $7.49 at Petco.com.
This could very well be normal. Female hamsters go through cycles, and the vaginal discharge is normal. As the female approaches esterus (when the female is ready to mate) she will produce this stinky discharge. My guess is that it probably evolved in wild hamsters so that the male hamsters can smell when a local female is in heat.
Your other female hamsters have probably had the same thing, but you may not notice as they are nocturnal.
