Is my mouse pregnant?

I found a mouse in my living room and it was so friendly that I decided to keep it. I can't tell if it is a male or female. it is pretty round. (but it might just be fat) all it does is hide in it's box and I've never seen an animal drink so much water. how can you tell?
here are links to pictures of her

I know I posted this question once but i figured if i re-posted more people would get a chance to see the pictures of her and tell me if she was pregnant or not.

I would be very hesitant about picking up common house rodents friendly or not. Rats and Mice are carriers of a lot of infectious diseases. Rats were responsible for spreading the black plaque.
The only good house rodent is a dead one, you need to call Terminex or Orkin to have your house sprayed for rodent infestation.
i dont know much about mice, but i wouldnt get my hopes up, most mice are just fat, and why would you keep the mouse? Just asking, it might be infectious or something.
well hyave fubn w/ your creepy critter and its creepy crawlies. :]
Have it pee on an EPT
ok, this is how you tell between a boy mouse and a girl mouse. Brace your self. Pick up the mouse (if it will let you) and lift up its tail. I think it will be pretty obvious. (the males have balls) if your mouse doesnt have ehhemm. testicles, then it is a girl and it could be pregnant. Try giving it some kind of nesting material and see if it tries to make a nest. If it does, you likely have a pregnant mouse. Congrats!
your mouse is a regular house mouse and it looks like a male to me from the size of its ears
The best thing you can do is just wait. The gestation period is only about 16-21 days, so if she feels pregnant to you then she will have the little mice soon. Give her lots of shredded paper towel or buy her some bedding at a pet store to nest in- she'll enjoy that whether or not she's expecting. Also, make sure to get her lots of protein. Congrats on the new pet!
If she is fat she'll be fat all around her(sides, stomache, ect). If she is pregnant just her stomache will be fat. It'll kinda look like a big tennis ball is inside her stomache. Also if she lets you, try to feel her stomache. If she is pregnant you will feel little bumps in there(the babies) and you might even feel them move.If she is pregnant give her lots of nesting material and a hut so she have her babies in their. Shredded paper is the best material to use. Do not use a wire cage or the babies could fit through them. An aquarium or big plastic bin with a top should be good. If she does not give birth within about 2-3 weeks shes most definatly not pregnant. Good luck with your little cutie! If you have any questions email me at arab_luver_101@yahoo.com.
its probally just fat from eatting alot. it wouldnt be wandering alot if it was gonna have babies. it would stay in a safe place.
when my mouse was pregnant I had no idea until there was 14 little pink things all huddled in the corner. the only thing is that the mouse might have a sickness. i would take it to vet before keeping it. just to be sure.
Does she look like she's swallowed a golf ball when she's stretched out. She's to curled up in that picture. Pick her up and feel her belly. You should feel movement and a slightly firm belly. If she will let you turn her over and look at her nipples. They should look quite large if she has milk coming in. Giver her planty of food and water and some soft things to make a nest out of. Any other questions e-mail or IM me.
