Is it safe to give my hamster a micro amount of tylenol in his water?

He broke his leg and he seems okay otherwise... I'm just thinking it's probably hurting him, and wondering if i can do anything to help relieve the pain.
Answers:
Do not ever put medications in your hamster or rodent's water. It makes it taste funny, and your hamster could stop drinking it entirely because it doesn't like the taste, causing it to become dangerously dehydrated or even die.
Using human medicines on rodents is a risky business. I would recommend talking to a vet who has experience with hamsters about strategies to make your pet more comfortable. So call your vet, and maybe meanwhile you can give your hammie some of his favorite treats to distract him. Good luck!
Contact a veterinarian who has experience with "pocket pets"/exotics (rabbits, ferrets, etc.) and see what they say. Acetaminophen is harmful to certain animals.
I would definitely call and ask a vet before I gave any medicines to such a small animal. You could cause an overdose.
