Is my guinea pig ok if he has mucus around his eyes and doesn't walks on one leg?

I just got him and i don't want him to die before he gets to like me. Maybe he needs more vitamin C.
Answers:
Did you buy him like that?? Usually if they got mucus around the eye it means they have an eye infection, try bathing it with cooled boiled water. If he is limping he may have an injured foot. I would take him to a vet to get him checked over in any case. The person you bought him off shouldnt have sold him to you inless he was healthy. 'Pets at home' give good advice and they usually have a vetinarary nurse on site for any enquiries.
What kind of question is this?
Of course it's not okay for this to be going on, you need to take him to the vet who takes care of guinea pigs/small animals.
of course its not ok! vitamin c wont do anything..did you call the pet shop you bought him they should have to pay for what is happening to the animals they are selling no animal deserves to be in pain!!
no no vitamin c wont help, now you march right down to that store and swap him for another, you should never have got him if he had discharge. choose a healthy alert one, it isnt fair if you have to pay the vet bills. if all the guinea pigs are like it then report the shop.
of course not!
get it to the vet!
If the place where you got him from has a health guarentee, you need to bring the guinea pig back to them for a refund.
If you don't have a guarentee on him, please bring him to the vet right away. He needs medical attention.
No, I would take this as a bad sign indeed. Mucous around the eyes can be many things, but it's most likely a sign of an upper respiratory infection. Him not using one of his legs is also not a good sign. The animal needs to see a veterinarian, pronto. Personally, I'm not a fan of returning the pig to the pet store - there's not telling what will happen to it once it's handed back. However, I would at least contact the store to let them know your recent purchase is ill. URI are highly contagious, and it's likely that if your pig has one, so do the other pigs that shared its cage.
Please seek a veterinarian. The pig has a better chance of survival with you than back with the pet store.
Seriously? You had to ask this question! No, of course he is not ok. Vet, now. He needs antibiotics for his infection and possibly pain medicine for his hurt leg. Sounds like he has an URI and a vet needs to look at his leg. NOW!
