Rats are very intelligent. They do abandon a sinking ship.
I think rats get a bad reputation because of their red eyes, long unfurry tail, and city rats in garbage.
Rats actually make great pets.
they do run away from the rising water
so in affect they do try to abandon a sinking ship, unfortunately the ship is sinking into the water, oops
