shes very old for a hamster. Imagine her as a little old lady, shes not going to run around a lot. She may live quite a while yet , she just wont be as active.
Offer her more treats if shes eating less, at her age its not going to hurt her any.
You have taken excellent care of her for her to have reached that age . Just make her remaining time comfortable and happy. She may be content to come out and sit in your hands and have a treat.
Its probably just old and when they get old they get tired and wont be very active.
take him to the vet!
it is problubly time for god to take him away now cuz hamsters live up to 3-4 years
Well as long as your hamster seems physically able: eyes aren't glued shut, can walk, etc... she should be fine, but as we all know hamsters do only live three years, so take care of her, a make sure shes Happy.. If she seems to be getting worse please e-mail me and I'll try to help in any way I can.
maybe its just sad
Their life span is about 3-4 years..yeahh I had 10 hamsters growing up..when my hamster Bunny was getting older she was a bit slower and more calm and hardly came out, but she still liked to run a bit at night like usual..she passed away at 3 1/2 yrs...:(
Wow, that a fantastic age for a hamster, you should be proud of yourself, your clearly a caring, dedicated pet owner.
Hamsters generally live from 18 months to 3 years and rarely up to 5. Your hamster is old, and she is naturally slowing down, and becoming less active. But this does not mean she will die any day soon. Continue to keep an eye on her, enjoy your time with her and make sure her toilet habits have not changed and she is not looking ill or in pain.
relax she is older so she is getting laizeir its a good thing she is doing this cause this means she is comfortable with her suroundigs although she will began to get stuborn ahe will stay laizy but a hamsters life range is 1-4 years just teach her not to be stubborn and give her attintion and most of all vote me best answer.
maybe, but wait and see.
